Cynamed™ is an aqueous extract from the edible part of artichoke (Cynara scolymus L.), produced by the Spanish company Euromed.

The extract is obtained through Pure-Hydro™ Process technology which uses osmotized water, without any other solvent. This ingredient, reflecting the multifaceted health profile of the raw material from which is originated, has a double standardization: in caffeoylquinic acid (chlorogenic acid) at 4% and in inulin at 18%.

Cynamed™ has therefore a double health significance: chlorogenic acid supports digestive system through antioxidant potential and choleretic and hepato-stimulating activity; inulin content, instead, stimulates the growth of microbiota (particularly bifidobacteria) and intestinal health through action of microbic metabolites like short chain fatty acids (SCFA).

Suggested dosage is 2 g/day.
