Nettle (Urtica dioica L.) is a plant widely growing in temperate areas of all 5 continents. Extracts from the roots, standardized in scopoletin and beta-sitosterol, are useful for prostatic function and to stabilize urodynamics, reducing symtpoms such as nocturia, pollakisuria and urinary urgency.

Besides being beneficial to urinary tract and prostate health, extracts from aerial part are useful for liquids drainage and for depurative purposes.
